Zuri's Food For The Soul

Comfort Food For The Season & The Soul
Ingredients:  1-2 medium potatoes(white/red), 4 stocks celery, 1 sm to med onion, 3-4 medium carrots, 1/4 lb Shiitake mushroom, 1/2 cup of string beans,  1/2 bell pepper(any color), 1 to 2 ears of corn (white/yellow) on or off cob, 1 med bulb root vegetable, white fish (monk, stripped base) or both etc., grape seed oil, etc. Note: can add cooking wine to taste. herb seasoning to taste (optional), pinch of sea salt/ Himalayan salt.  
Directions:  saute onions, celery, peppers & mushrooms first, then add vegetable/chicken stock or go really bold and add fish stock.  follow with string beans, corn, potatoes etc., then rest of veggies ending with fish about 20 min before its done.  Note:can marinade fish for about 20 min. for deeper favor(spice to taste).  If you let sit over nite flavors enhance. The process is 1 hr. tops w/preparations.
Note:  Can add or take away ingredients depending on amount of servings.  this amount serves about  4-8 depending on size of bowl or weather its an appetizer or main dish. Great w/toasted fresh bread
