Wash cloth vs. No Wash cloth

Here's the thing, from the time your a baby your mom uses a wash cloth, at least most did/do.  Then some where along the line, you become old enough to wash yourself and low and behold, you wanna get out of the shower/bath quicker and there goes the cloth.  Well stop it! rewind, go back.  There's a reason for that cloth, it gets rid of build up for dry/dead skin and oils or should I say the build up of oil and dirt from the environment and lotions/moisturizer etc.   Then along comes all those nasty little rumors about bacteria and the like and we stop using them or replace them with all kind of lovely things.  Which, I don,t say no to, its called marketing, free enterprise.  But, ever heard the old at-age if it ain't broke don't fix it.  That's the wash cloth!  It's great because it can clean your whole body, back and all.  Yes, it can also hold bacteria if you don't wash it out and hang it to dry afterwards!  Your hand is to smooth to clean your skin properly, that includes the soap/bath gel.  that is also why exfoliates came into being and became very popular.   The ancients first used sand to help clean the skin and then add scents and oils.  The bottom line is, no matter what device/apparatus you decide on for best results, use something in your hand to clean your skin properly!!!  "Just say-in"

Is Your Hair Thinning?

I was recently asked if I had any tips for thinning hair.   I suffered from thinning hair in past and here is what I found helped me.   First, you have to look at what might be causing the problem.  Everything from hormones, diet, stress, products, even pharmaceuticals (medicine). e.g.  Figure out what's changed recently thru a process of elimination.   Start to eliminate each one until the right solution becomes clear.   For me it turned out to be a hormonal em-balance, diet and stress.   So, I got myself back on track, discovered a great product called Goe oil and Sprayology and I've never been happier.  When all else fails, check with your Dr.   Oh, you can always call us hear at Zuri's Petite Spa, we're here for you.

Are "U" Winterized

Winter is fast approaching, you find your skin is Drier more Dehydrated. Solution is; a combination of essential oil and Shea butter moisturizer. The combination will hydrate & prevent cracking skin. For best results: Exfoliate at least once a week, no more than twice.  Over exfoliating can cause more damage to skin.  Note:  you will find that adding a wash cloth to your daily routine will help decrease a build-up of Dead skin!

Much Needed R & R

Recently went on a trip to Canada to pick up sugar for my hair removal services. I can't express how important it is to take care of yourself and get much needed R & R. When we don't, we really aren't good for our selves or anyone else. Before You know it, your body starts to exhibit signs of fatigue and insomnia. The funny thing is most of us don't even see it coming, we feel it coming but we ignore it. That is, until you end up flat on your face and then your life is inconvenienced as well as your family, if your lucky enough to have them around. So my advice, take a little time to enjoy the view.
